The interior. 11x24 shed looks pretty big when it's like this. Much needs to be added. Insulation, ceiling, electric, windows.

Most of the materials assembled for use.

Windows in, insulation begun. The metallic looking is just that. It's called a Radiant Barrier. It has an R-6 and radiates 95% of all heat back to the source - sun or indoor heat. Since most heat is radiant, this is a great thing to have.

Ceiling joists in place, fiberglass insulation begun. I love insulating. Really.
The drywall started. Not looking so large now.

Spackling finished. Start with a product called Durabond for first coat. It doesn't do through expansion and contraction/cracking like standard "mud". Then subsequent 2 coast of standard "mud". Papertape works WAY better.
Wet sand with a slightly damp sponge if you feel the need and you're finished.

Once we paint, that will be posted next.

9/20 Ha! Look at that! Miracles will NEVER cease. All of this completed within a week! I never would have guessed.
Priming and ceiling completed

Walls and Ceiling completed. Ceiling looks lighter because I put a double 3' fluorescent bulb on it to light the area.
Next - the trim you see in the next to last picture needs priming and painting before it's installed, the flooring (rug) and the light fixtures. Life is good!

Work Shop Raising

Not quite a barn raising, but close.

Building was prefab from Amish Wood Works (amish in name only)

You need a gravel bed of 4-6" to place the shed on. Doing it yourself saves a full $700.

The offloading of the shed. Only 1 guy to do this. Wow!

Staining of the shed complete. You don't really save any money doing this yourself. Found out the hard way.

Shed with windows installed, "foundation" of railroad ties placed around - to help with deterring woodchucks from deciding it was a great place to set up residence.

Walk way approach and some landscaping by the door.

Landscaping and backfill behind the shed complete. We scraped more dirt out than necessary to help create a drainage system. Don't want it to be damp underneath.

Quilt has been donated to a family in Slidell, LA where a 4 y.o. little girl donated some of her bone marrow to her 6 y.o. brother. She loves pink!

Also known as "Blush and Bashful"

This quilt will fit a Full Size bed with extra deep mattress, or a Queen Size as a comforter. This quilt has a light knit back that allows it to be used as a reversible quilt as you wish.

It has 6 different blocks arranged very specifically to give it a random, yet relaxed feel. The pinks are very warm, with other colors playing a minor harmonizing role to allow its use in any style room.

The quilt has fabric from as far away as Australia and as close to home as next door.

The cost of this quilt is $600 with half the proceeds going to One House At A Time (www.onehouseatatime.com)

Similar quilts of the same or different color scheme can be made to order. Price will vary with size.

Quilt For Sale - Star Light By Candle Light

This Quilt will fit a Queen or Full size bed easily.

It is made of Satin and Taffeta with a Cream Fleece back. All fabrics were bought to coordinate with the Plaid Taffeta squares within each star, giving the plaid and each star a completely unique, but coordinated look.

As you can see, the quilt just glows in lower light, making it a perfect romantic and classic way to dress up your bedroom.

Cost of this quilt is $800. Half of proceeds will go to One House At A Time (www.OneHouseAtATime.com)

Requests for a similar quilt are being taken, but costs will vary with availability and cost of fabric.
